Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SnapSchedule ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
SnapSchedule is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Capture photos of event flyers, posters, and screenshots.
- Extract event information using AI-powered text recognition.
- Create calendar events from extracted information.
- Sync events to your device's calendar.
User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Subscriptions and Payments
SnapSchedule offers free and paid subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited scans per month with basic features.
- Pro: Increased scan limits and additional features.
- Executive: Unlimited scans and premium features.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the respective store's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App to transmit malware or malicious code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SnapSchedule and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
User Content
You retain ownership of images you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your images for the purpose of extracting event information. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Accuracy of Information
While we strive for accuracy, the AI-powered extraction may not always be perfect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying event details before saving them to your calendar. We are not liable for missed events or incorrect information.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED EVENTS, LOST DATA, OR INACCURATE CALENDAR ENTRIES.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapSchedule and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
